Every guest at Stouts Hill is advised to spend at least one full day in touring round the many lovely honey-coloured
stone villages, almost all of which are worth a visit.Within easy reach are Barnsley (unspoiled), Bibury, Bourton on the Water (a big draw for visitors), Burford, Stow on the Wold (a feast of antique shops and art galleries), Chipping Cambden, Moreton-in-the-Marsh and the intriguingly named villages of Upper and Lower Slaughter.
